Albanian Alps Bike/Trek 2006
Come bike and trek with us for ten days from July 1 through July 10, 2006.
Trip Leaders
Steve Cook, President of the Albanian Alps Institute will lead this bike/trek into the Albanian Alps. Steve has been working and traveling in Northern Albania since 1992. He is familiar with the land and the people and has experience on the roads and trails we will follow. Steve is an inveterate hiker and mountain bike rider and also an experienced trip leader capable of providing an exciting, rewarding, and memorable experience for trekkers/bikers of all levels.
In addition to Steve, there will be at least two bilingual Albanians accompanying the group. These young men, products of the Albanian Alps Institute English program, will be able to help with interacting with local people as well as helping each participant fulfill their expectations for the trip.
